PhD Association (NPA) is an organization that brings the scholars holding PhD degree under an umbrella with aim to generate and communicate scientific knowledge locally and globally, and take actions towards solving societal and environmental problems. It is a non-profit and non-political organization, formed to advance academic excellence and spearhead development discourses with innovative ideas generated from multi-disciplinary consultative process. The NPA provides a platform for the PhD holders to network beyond their own academic disciplines and profession to discuss on glaring societal issues and promote career mutually. 

 

As an academic forum, the NPA is an institution of individuals with diverse skills and knowledge at its disposal for the scientific advancement and development of the nation. Indeed, the NPA has the capacity to influence development policies, plans and implementations of the modern Nepal as the members represent different academic, professional and institutional affiliations. With concerted efforts of the members, the NPA would like to see a prosperous Nepal with a society possessing an ethic of responsibility and accountability towards humanity and environment.
